Middletown Councilor Terri Flynn property investigation report release

MIDDLETOWN — The attorney retained by the town to investigate the assessment of Councilor Terri Flynn’s property will present the results of her investigation at Monday’s Town Council meeting.

Copies of the report will be made available at the time of the presentation, according to the meeting agenda.

The agenda item does not disclose any details of attorney Maria Deaton’s investigation; it’s simply an announcement that she’ll be sharing the results.

Ever since resident Michael Cunningham called Flynn’s assessment into question at a Town Council meeting in April – which seemed to catch the council off guard – town officials have been mum on the probe into Flynn’s 34 and 38 Warren Ave. property.

Cunningham was curious as to why, “despite it being significantly improved both inside and out,” Flynn’s “physical property value has steadily been going down, while all of her neighbors have steadily been going up,” he said during that April meeting.
